I help you to holistically become fit, and resilient through self-awareness and by connecting to sensations of pleasure, comfort, and joy in movement. The main emphasis is on moving your body’s way with an embodied understanding of the body’s way. I help you feel vitality both physical, emotional, and mental. I guide you in creating your own simple self-care practice to keep you healthy, flourishing, and energized. I teach NIA technique private and in group sessions online and in retreat
Recovery from injury and enhancing posture
With guided movement and gentle home exercise, I help your body to let go of limiting and painful neuromuscular tension patterns while guiding your nervous system to find new movement patterns that are freeing the body. You will find that you can once again move with spontaneity and confidence and engage in activities that are meaningful and enjoyable for you.
With the gentle approach of Feldenkrais awareness through movement lessons to unwind stress and tension and restore the nervous system to its calm state, I helped many people to sleep better and wake up more rested.
I came to Pingel because I had back pain for a while that just wouldn’t go away.
She gave me a treatment that not only made my back pain disappear. She also made me aware of my posture and movement which I use to maintain my back pain. Now I am aware of that and can act on it to prevent new back pain. During the treatment even more happened, which I find interesting and surprising.
Through her touch, Pingel can bring you to the places in your body where old experiences are stored. I could literally feel my script patterns in different parts of my body.
Where old shock is stored in my body. Where I have decided to hold back or be careful. Where I avoid pain.

Ever since I entered menopause more than 20 years ago I have suffered from sleep problems, either not being able to fall asleep or not being able to sleep through. I was, so to speak, “always-on”. Several therapies and treatments done during these years but most had a short-term effect.
At the beginning of this year, I came across short introductions via the FB page Move into Joy With Pingel and made the decision to join the FB group and take classes offered via Zoom.
What a special experience, after a few lessons my sleeping problems became less, first I could sleep through 1 night and now I sleep through almost every night and feel rested and less stressed. Pingel teaches very enthusiastically, I feel safe, the patterns that I have used all my life are being broken, the word “must” is disappearing from my vocabulary. Slowly I feel my nervous system making new connections. I can also follow the lessons through the secure learning environment for a year and keep repeating them. Wow, never thought that working with Feldenkrais would have this effect. Pingel thanks!!
I have enjoyed the classes! They increase my awareness of my possibilities of movement. I may be 80+ but this makes me stand out in my sports group because I am relaxed doing my exercises and see what my possibilities are that I make use of! Thank you that because of this I am never afraid to fall or hurt myself badly. Moreover, I enjoy these exercises enormously and the fine and calm way of how you build up the lessons and present them to us! I live with a feeling of turning 100 and live after that with my hobbies and activities.

I have known Pingel and her husband for a long time now and have seen them grow as teachers and persons. I found the first retreat in France to be a huge success. Although it was a small group with big differences, they were able to tune in to the different needs. In which they made good use of each other’s strengths and vulnerabilities.
