In this retreat, I guide you into an integrative experience of body, mind, emotion, and spirit. I combine simple Feldenkrais movement explorations that tap into the capacity of the brain to make new connections, with gentle NIA sensory-based whole-body conditioning on music, Chakradance, and creative assignments that bring the energy system back into balance and help you move through life with ease, spontaneity, and joy.

In becoming aware of our sensations, feeling, thinking, and moving, the neuro-physical, somatic approach of Feldenkrais, the expressive, energy-, and emotion-transforming qualities of dance movement creativity, and NIA holistic movement meet. Together they have the capacity to understand and heal deeply embedded physical-emotional patterns and habits whilst at the same time strengthen and create vitality. Body, mind, and spirit are inextricably linked.

In this process of awareness, discovering, recharging, and healing, you will discover how:

The retreat starts on Sunday night with a welcome diner and circle. The next Saturday morning will be the departure. There will be a Dance Movement Creativity session, a short Feldenkrais lesson, and an NIA playshop each day, with exception of Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning. Friday night we will have a farewell party
All retreats include:
- Lunch, dinner, (non-alcoholic) drinks & snacks
- All morning and afternoon group sessions
- Daily pick up at a meeting point in Lanjarón
Not included in the price of € 590 are:
- Your travel costs
- Transportation from and to Malaga Airport
- Cancellation insurance
- Travel insurance
- 1-1 sessions
- Trips to the beach & the mountains
In the form, you can indicate if you want to book accommodation with us (limited space). We offer the possibility to share our cabana, bell tent or our 1-person tent at an additional cost. Guests staying on our land share shower and toilet facilities. We serve breakfast for guests who stay overnight with us.
Or you can arrange your own stay. There are many friendly priced Airbnb’s and hotels in the area. There is a variety of choices from very basic to luxury accommodation. We can assist you.
In the form, you can also indicate if you want to arrange transportation to and from the airport through us. Please note that we will only pick you up around the end of the afternoon. Drop-off time at the airport depends on the person with the earliest flight. A one-way trip from/to Malaga airport varies from € 70,- to € 18,- depending on the number of persons in the car. You will pay directly to the driver.
Or you can arrange your own transport. There are quite some options from renting a car to taking a bus.
You will receive a payment request for a deposit within 24 hours after booking. Only when this amount is received, your place is reserved.
Cancellation free of charge is possible until 1 month before the retreat!
Our cancellation policy:
- Up to 1 month before the retreat we refund the total deposit.
- Up to 3 weeks before the retreat: 75% refund.
- Till 2 weeks before the retreat 50 % refund.
- Up to 1 week before the retreat starts 25% refund.
- Less than 7 days before the retreat starts no refund of payment
We recommend cancellation insurance! In the rare case that we have to cancel the retreat due to force majeure, we will arrange suitable replacement where possible and in consultation. In case of cancellation on our part, you will receive your payment to us back. We do not refund airfare and accommodation costs.

Will this retreat be for me if I am experiencing tension, stress, and low energy?
Yes! This retreat is especially suitable for people that experience stress, tension, strain, and low energy. My own experience as a former over-exhausted person with lots of tension and pain inspired me to create this week’s program. I weave together my knowledge of how the human body is meant to move and how the brain works with my body awareness and sensory IQ to guide you into movement that is both healing and gently recharging body, mind, emotions, and spirit.
I am over fifty years old. Can I join?
Yes, of course. I have had people in their seventies in my regular classes. In this retreat, you are encouraged to move according to your own comfort and ability. The purpose is to fully engage your body’s resources for sensation, movement, and pleasure, without causing harm through your actions. You will discover how to follow the Body’s Way. Which is to learn, appreciate and respect what your body tells you is true.
What is included in this retreat?
- All sessions in the morning and evening.

Are there possibilities for private sessions?
Yes, you can book 60-minute private sessions with Pingel in the afternoons. You pay a friendly price for these (extra) sessions.
How long are the group sessions?
Morning group sessions are 2 hours including a coffee break. In the morning expect a mix of gentle conditioning, expressive movement, and creativity.
Evening group sessions are 1,5 hours. Expect a combination of mindful movement in sitting or lying down, dance meditation, energy work, and creativity.
I don’t like to dance. Is this suitable for me?
Depending on your definition of dance. You are mostly moving on music through free expression, simple movement variations, and gentle conditioning. Don’t expect complicated dance steps or difficult combinations.
