In my NIA sessions, I guide you to reconnect with your body through dance, vitality, and conscious movement. you are invited to move, feel, and express, barefoot and attuned to what feels pleasurable. So your nervous system can gently shift from patterns of holding and guarding into ease, responsiveness, and aliveness.
Through sensing, exploring, playfulness and choice – I invite you to choose pleasure over pain in each movement and moment of your life.
Movement as Medicine for the Nervous System
I integrate NIA’s nine movement forms—from martial arts, dance arts, and somatic practices—into a guided, expressive experience. Your nervous system thrives on variation, and I intentionally guide you through different rhythms, qualities, and intensities to expand your capacity to adapt, regulate, and stay in choice.
In our sessions, you may move through:

Through this, I help you experience how your system can be flexible, resilient, and adaptive, while you play with physical, emotional, and sensory expression, expanding your range, responsiveness, and vitality.


Moving Your Body’s Way
As you dance, I invite you to explore your anatomy from within, sensing how your body is designed to move, respond, and support you. I guide you to listen to your body as a source of intelligence, rather than something to control.
Through playful dance, attention, and exploration, your system begins to reorganize: patterns of holding soften, breath deepens, movement becomes fluid and responsive. You learn to:
- Sense what is true in your body
- Follow impulses instead of overriding them
- Move from curiosity rather than control
In this process, your inner compass becomes clear, connecting your bodily experience to how you choose, act, and align in life.
From holding back to playful expression
I support you in gently widening your field of expression when staying alert has narrowed it.

How I Guide You to Align Your Inner Compass
In each session, I guide you to use sensation as a living tool to connect with your inner compass—the heart of MAMA’s 4th pillar: Aligning your inner compass to ease and enjoyment.
You are invited to move with conscious choice, learning to choose pleasure over pain, moment by moment, exploring how your body wants to move and express itself.
I guide you to explore your body through six different movement energies that reconnect you with a felt vitality – in ways your sensations and emotions can be experienced and expressed without needing to identify with them.
You may let your energy move outward through the legs and arms, opening space between your joints, or gather it in your core, wrapping your muscles around your bones, and explore other movement energies your body wants to express.
By shifting between levels of intensity in fluid, gradual ways and exploring these movement energies, your nervous system receives nourishment, gaining adaptability, responsiveness, and groundedness.
Through this practice, you refine your sensory literacy and nervous system resilience, while connecting playfully to the energies moving within your inner landscapes.
Your body becomes your inner compass to sense your needs, recognise your boundaries, and respond to them.
From here, you can meet your life and relationships more fully – embodied, playful, and aligned.
