In this intimate, small-group women’s retreat, you will:

Your Biology Speaks: Are You Listening?
Your body is chatting all the time. Through sensation, emotion, images, thought, and even meaning, it’s giving you signals: what’s safe, what’s overstimulating, and where energy is stuck.
As your system moves through the biological changes of menopause, it navigates intensely reorganizing processes—at times mirroring the energy demands of survival states.
Especially when old hurts linger, daily pressures weigh on you, or you find yourself replaying familiar, limiting stories that keep you stuck in patterns of thinking, feeling, moving, and perceiving, you may notice yourself more on edge, easily stressed, or swept into emotional states linked to fight or flight. This intensity asks for a lot of energy, taking up the very bandwidth your system needs to meet change. It can leave your system tightened, stressed, and burdened. Your biology can become extra sensitive—foods, words, touch, even attention can feel like too much to take in—and you might experience brain fog, digestive tension, restless nights, or sudden waves of heat.
Trying to fix it from the outside may seem to help at first—but over time, it can leave your system feeling more out of rhythm. These efforts can stretch your system to its limits, cycling between peaks and crashes, and keeping the loop spinning.
Every now and then, your system may have to tell you in strong, felt ways that menopause is asking a lot of its energy capacity. Its message is simple and clear: to shift, It needs less.
Less pressure. Less control. Less input. Less efforting.
More reassurance. More safety. More space to rest.
When intensity eases a little, your system may whisper tiny messages—small impulses toward a smoother reorganization that, with guidance, unfold into a softer, more joyful experience of menopause. My journey through menopause was exactly that: pausing, listening, and leaning into the wisdom of my Sensuous Body Wise and Compassionate Wild Wise Heart.
I noticed: the shift wasn’t about doing more,
but about changing how the body feels.
By gently shifting neuromuscular and perception patterns—from efforting to ease, from contraction to relaxation—

I chose this retreat because of the location, it being woman-focused and the focus on the body as source of wisdom
I had a beautiful time at this retreat. I felt totally transported out of my daily life and enveloped in a warm, authentic, loving hug! The program consisted of practices I had never encountered before and were life-changing in terms of my body awareness. I look at my body with more compassion and love, working with any limitations rather than trying to fight against them and fail.
Pingel’s style is one of ‘show, don’t tell’, by showing us the joy and playfulness she found in what works for her. This was incredibly inspiring for me. Also, she encourages you to find and trust your own truth and wisdom, which is different for everyone.
The whole retreat space was held so well by Peter and Pingel that I felt looked after, honored, and loved. Amazing food, excursions, great conversation, perfect accommodation (I stayed in the bell tent so I could hear the crickets and the nightingale at night 😊), and a well-planned program… I am already saving to go back for more!!! This 7-day/6 night women-only retreat is fully tailored to the menopausal transition you go through. You will be given powerful tools to navigate menopause with power, grace, and greater ease and set up your unique body wisdom map for emotional, physical, and mental self-healing and well-being.
We offer you a very unique and personalized body-centered healing program in a set-up varying from 1 person to no more than 5 women, in a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. You will find a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment that holds space to meet yourself on a deeper level, in your own time and pace. It is our greatest aspiration and joy to make your stay, and inner journey a truly wonderful, transformative, and nourishing experience for you. No prior experience in dance or movement is needed.
The basis for this carefully created transformational programme is a powerful mix of somatic modalities such as Feldenkrais neuro-physical movement coaching, dance and Embodied Creativity rooted in my 4 pillar pathway MAMA and Organ Intelligence® Post Trauma Grwoth.
